Knife edge board material and thickness:
Low-cost excavator bucket mouth plates often choose cheap No. 45 steel plates or scrap steel plates, medium-quality excavator bucket mouth plates often choose manganese steel plates or Q345A/B plates, and high-quality excavator buckets generally choose Q345E or Q460 or HARDOX-500. The mouth plate is not as thick as possible. A heavy excavator bucket will increase the load of the excavator; increase fuel consumption. The common 20-ton excavator mouth plate is generally 40 mm thick, preferably not more than 50 mm thick.
Material and thickness of bottom wear plate:
For many excavator buckets, the thickness of the back plate affects the cost at least 20%. The difference in material will affect the price; the difference in thickness will affect the price of the bending process; whether the stress relief is done will affect the price of labor
Brand selection of bucket heel:
Bucket heel is the biggest consumable of a bucket; the brand of tooth root, tooth, and side edge can affect about 10% of the price of excavator bucket; domestic bucket teeth mainly include these types: rock, icebreaker, For earthwork, compared with many small factories, the price of bucket teeth cast from scrap steel differs by 30-40%.
3. Bucket ear material
The quality of bucket ears directly determines the use time of later excavator buckets. The price difference between bucket ears of good quality and ordinary materials is about double.
4. Welding materials
Excavator bucket welding usually uses gas shielded welding. A small excavator bucket also uses a coil of multiple welding wires, not to mention a large excavator bucket. The cost of welding wire is also a piece that cannot be ignored. The price impact of ordinary welding wire and brand welding wire can reach about 5%.
5. Reinforcement material and thickness
Common reinforcement materials include half shafts, steel plate springs, track plates, BIS400 wear plates, rail steel and other different materials, which means that the welding process and time will also have a great impact
6. Is the bucket production process complete?
An excavator bucket in addition to cutting, king, welding, polishing, stress relief and many other details. A 1.6 square rock bucket is normally done by 3 skilled workers for about 5 days. Today, with high labor costs, this is also a big expense for bucket production.
